It could be real, however, it does not mean there was only 1 set made. Like many items 'the kid' wears there were many duplicates made for the movies, tours and public appearances.

Hard Rock Cafe in NYC had the ruffle shirt on display at one time with the same style of cufflinks attached.


Also the price is way out of wack, he even states the jems are costume jewelery and not real.

Hi. I am the Prince fan with the cufflinks for sale. They're the real thing. They come from a member of the Revolution. I have a massive Prince collection and am selling a few things. I also sold his boots. It's hard to get his personal items as he is such a recluse thus the value.
