So in my drunken state I bought an autographed picture of Prince off of Ebay. It looks like the Purple Rain era, a concert picture. It says "Love Prince". Does anyone know how to tell if it is his handwriting? It was only $13.00, was it a drink mistake or not? Does he sign pictures?

Did it come with a certificate of authenticy?

Three if it does not look close to the signature on the parade album it's fake.


There was one that pops up every once in a while that is from the gold experience era. shrined authentic certificate. about 1200$

if u really want a prince memorabilia item get a cloud guitar usually around 2400$

Believe it or not, I actually do have his autograph (he signed "Love God, Prince" on his 27th birthday party invitation in St. Paul, MN. that I went to) Can anyone tell me of somewhere reputable where I can take it to get a letter of authentity? Thanks.

A letter of authenticity is only trustworthy if it's either from a close associate of the signatory or has photo evidence of the event taking place.

There's such a huge amount of fake "Prince" signed items that selling it would be a bit like crying wolf I'm afraid. It does make me chuckle when they say "complete with a letter of authenticity" when it could just be someone writing those words in crayon on a piece of cardboard

Anyway, I always think autographs are a personal thing and a reminder of when you met that celebrity, why on earth you would buy an autograph is beyond me unless the signed item is of interest or value.
