I also got one at the virgin mega store in LA. I have friends that live out there that bought me a copy. They gave it to me for nada because they know I'm such a big fan. Amazon.com is selling them as imports. Maybe try there?

those imports are australian pressings....

and their still the same thing, nothing different.

i'm still looking for a copy of 'The Ultimate' by Prince! it's very depressing here in the middle of the states. i've not found the cd set anywhere in any stores around here.

of course i'd luv to own a copy for a reasonable price. if anyone can help me, i greatly appreciate it. it's something i want to own badly but, if the cost is too high, then i'll have to forego my wants. which is life, i supposse. so no big deal. i won't die. lol lol lol

I heard the us version is set
to be released some time in june

Well, I've been trying to go around and post what I found during my little bit of research. I have found 2 different release dates. Yes, one was indeed June 2006! The other one, I kid u not, said it would be out December of 2025!!!!!

Yes, I know that has got to be the hugest misprint of all time or uhmmmm... HECK NO, THAT JUST HAS TO BE WRONG, WRONG, AND WRONG AGAIN! LOL I don't want to laugh too hard cause in a way, it's not funny at all! Just aggravating and annoying, to say the least!

Ain't no lie! I just can't remember which music stores listed what date! I'm not for sure if I wrote this ridiculous stuff down or if I just can't find it, but please be assured that those dates were most definitely listed!!! Oh my!!!

The big deal about the set is the artwork (which are exactly the same on either pressings) since rumour has it that the new release will have different Prince approved artwork...
