Prince 1978 or 77 book cover....whats it worth? Yes...I actually have this. It's not in perfect condition but is definately rare and nice. has lots of wrinkles, but in a frame would look nice. what is something like this worth? What should I do with it? Keep it? Frame it? I like Prince but I am not sure if I would hang a pic like this around my house. Would prefer it go to someone who would. Have lots of other stuff to. Door poster from batman. Lot of posters.
I have a 100% postive feedback on ebay as seen here: http://feedback.ebay.com/...ompage=222 [Edited 2/20/05 8:50am]

Pepe Willie has a whole box of these in pristine condition and I was able to get one from him. Mine is framed and hanging up. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay but if it's not in mint I would say it's worth substantially less.

http://feedback.ebay.com/...ompage=222 The above link is current information not old and outdated info as previously presented. I guess the question is what do you find as a more reliable source? A webpage someone thrown together on a free webhosting site or Ebay, the world largest autioneer in the world? I personally trust Ebay as most people in this country (USA) do. Gav, your off topic. This is a marketplace, not a place for political opinions or to slander someone or to put down the USA. If people choose not to deal with someone that is their choice.
I have something for sale. I place a thread on prince.org. If you want it great. If you don't then move on to another thread. I don't believe Uptown would appreciate the way you are representing them. I have a 100% postive feedback on ebay as seen here: http://feedback.ebay.com/...ompage=222 [Edited 2/20/05 8:49am]

I don't know you Gav. Your joking about something that is very meaningful to me. We have lots of troops over in IRAQ who are dying. My own cousins and relations may be headed over there soon.
I come here for fun, not to argue on my time off. I am an easy going guy. If you want to talk about other stuff lets. Question for you: Did Uptown every have an all poster issue? Or maybe a book? I seem to recall there was something like this? I am trying to get rid of all my old posters. The book or magazine would be helpful. [Edited 2/20/05 14:11pm]

Correct.
This is good considering it is 100%. Some are from 2001 and others are recent. Do you have a point or are you just being your hateful self again? Are you interested in buying the poster? Do you need more credentials? I have many. [Edited 2/20/05 22:03pm]

I have many friends in Iraq - you're confusing my support for the troops with my lack of support for an illegal invasion of Iraq. My original comment come by way of the FACT that whilst the majority of the USA voted in George W Bush, the vast majority of the world OUTSIDE of the US have a very low opinion of him. You're trying to convince people that you're a genuine honest person to group by saying you have a 100% record in 5 transactions when for many many years, your name has become synonymous with ripped-off Prince fans. You may well have changed your tune, however you have to remember that many of us have long memories and you can't change people perceptions of you overnight (or by repeating the same ebay statistic over and over again) muskiediver said: I come here for fun, not to argue on my time off. Well if it appears I am doing well then why must you attack me? Maybe I can get than number up to 100 or 200 postive transactions. I have a good start, why not let me continue rather tha talk about things that happend long ago? You have nothing to loose nor does anyone else base on my small but proven record for the past 4 years. What do you suggest I do to improve my credibility? Surely you can't expect people's opinons to change overnight when, even at your own admittance, you've had trading problems in the past ?

Now where did I leave that dodgy "The Truth" artwork

Now where did I leave that dodgy "The Truth" artwork Thanks Gavin, your too kind! BTW, seven years ago I posted this on alt.music.prince: http://groups-beta.google...cdeb6b5d5c Only three people contacted me. My ebay reputation speaks for itself. I back up what I say with documentation and fact, not rumours. [Edited 2/21/05 13:11pm]
