Did anyone ever get the 7 cd smapling set that was advertised on the site and on the Rave video? Is it cool? Is it worth the $$$? What's on it? Someone want to give it to me? I'll be your best friend!

But that doesn't matter, because I believe they wanted to fill 100,000 pre-orders before releasing it. That's 70 million in pre-sales, not likely, so he dropped it, like so many other things have been dropped.

That's too bad. I might have dropped the $ on it just to be able to hear some of Prince's bass, vocal, and guitar work isolated in all its glory. Maybe some day.

Actually it would have been funny if it was released. All of a sudden there would be all these new hip-hop/rap songs with Prince samples and for a month or two it would be cool. Then there would be a backlash and everyone would be like "Man, give up on that Prince sampling stuff - that's old news" and "You're only sampling that because you paid $700 for it, not because it is inspired blah blah!"
