need copies of 1. prince on "muppets tonight" singing starfish and coffee
2. on bryant gumbles last "the early show". you know the one, where he comes in in an identical suit! 3. the rock and roll hall of fame induction and 4. the 1996 oprah interview. i had this one but my brother recorded over it! i don't have anything to trade but i'm willing to pay shipping and handling charches and give you a little extra for your trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong but all that member is asking for is copies of t.v. appearances. Is that illegal? It's obviously for personal use.

Miguel Those TV appearances were never released for sale to the public so they fall under the category of unofficial items for trade. That's supposedly against the rules of the forum. | |

Well, instead of you all interpreting the rules in your own way, why don't you just look them up. - UPDATE Videotapes of publicly broadcast, but not available for sale performances can be traded, for example when Prince has appeared on TV shows. Note trades only. These items should not be offered for sale. Don't know where you are isobelfq, but if you find someone willing to copy their tapes - I've been trying to track down the rrhf induction show for a while. As I do not live in the US I tried to get a couple of friends in the States to tape it for me, but they either didn't get the right channel or didn't realise how serious I was about it and 'forgot' 
I will have to deal with the whole transfer to PAL thing later... but seriously you guys take pity on those of us who missed it or could not get to watch it.  Call her green and the winter cannot fade her | |
