I have a gold symbol necklace charm that I got from the NPGMusic Club. I am getting rid of my Prince collection of official CDs, jewelry, key chains, posters, clothing, vinyl, dvds and vhs tapes.

All dvds, cds, vinyls etc. are official originals and not copies. I just do not want them anymore

If I may ask..why are you getting rid of all your stuff??

Hi:

The fact that prince is suing his fans again sickens me. I think that he is very narcissistic, arrogant and unappreciative of the people who support him by buying his cds, dvds and concert tickets.

He seems to forget that it is his fan, fams or friends or whatever the hell he wants to call us has made him rich.

It's true that he is extremely talented but he has to have an audience for his music. Am I right? I've been watching some interviews and he just comes off like he thinks he is so much better than everyone else.

I am tired of hearing him preach. He is such a hypocrite and I just can't watch or listen to anything from him anymore. He's not acting very "Christian-Like" at this moment.

Anyways, that's is why I am selling all of my prince items. I think that we should boycott prince for awhile to let him know that it is his fans buying his music that makes him what he is.
No fans. No money. It is as simple as that.

I can't understand why a millionare would try to sue "everyday" people who admire him enough to put a website up about him. There are all kinds of fansites of other artists out there on the net and you don't see them tripping.

You can't stop people from expressing an opinion or sharing information about your music. He seems not to realize that his fans are giving him free advertising with these websites.

I think websites like HQ and others educate new generations of kids who don't really know about much prince enough to make them want to buy a CD or ticket and check him out.

You make very good points.

There are times when I really don't think that guy lives on the same planet. He does tend to bite the hand that feeds him at times (or at the very least he snaps at it)

This sounds so drastic uptowngroove. How about shutting it all away in a dark cupboard for a while. I'm not trying to trivialise your anger or disillusionment - and I admire your willingness to act on your convictions...but I worry that you'll regret this later...
