The Time - Corporate World on e-Bay Hi folks,
Did anybody notice that a CD copy of The Time - 'Corporate World' just sold on e-Bay for almost £100! Looked pretty authentic (Paisley Park printed disc, colour sleeve of city skyline at night) - did any copies of this album REALLY sneak out when it was withdrawn, or was I looking at a bootleg? | |

Sorry, no, didn't keep the link to the auction... Have to say that the cover did certainly look bootleg-esque, but it was the actual disc that threw me - text was in a font very similar in style to most Paisley Park official CDs and DID have the Paisley Park logo at the bottom of the actual disc... | |

You can still search completed item with advanced option. As I took a look at the item, printing on disc let me feel it's CDR, not factory pressed one. | |

Well that's pretty easy to do - I've got a number of fonts that include ALL the Paisley Park and NPG logos. Definitely a bootleg, I thought perhaps a boot label pressed a version, but I can't find it listed anywhere. That's a ridiculous amount to pay for it - I got a copy for free! EDIT>>> Just found the auction - still can't tell if it's a cdr or not, but the disc looks pretty good - I just bought a promo CDR of Cinnamon Girl that was printed in the same way. I was just a bit confused for a second as the disc itself looked so well done - thought that it must be a bootleg, but wanted to check... £97 for a bootleg CD - sheeshhhh!!! I wish that I had that sort of disposable income... | |

Waste of money. I mean come on... songs that are already out (not unless it is the unreleased versions) and like 3 unreleased songs that not even all that (except for 9 Lives). Sheesh. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
