OutKast are to star in a "full-blown singing and dancing musical" for a US cable TV channel. The £8.2 million musical will be directed by Bryan Barber, the director behind the rap duo's I Like The Way You Move and classic Hey Ya! videos. The musicial is set to be as original as the OutKast's other projects, as traditional period drama will be brought up-to-date by contemporary music penned by the duo especially for the project. The musical is also expected to be released in cinemas
