Ya'll Remember This Chick? 
She's got one of the most mellow voices I've ever heard. I remember when I first heard "Breathe Life Into Me." It was love at first sight...well, hearing.  I'm still trying to get my hands on that impromtu performance of "Just My Imagination" she did with Prince during the Lovesexy Tour. *hint-hint* 
This girl just can't go wrong!!!

Remember her well, and Yeah, I remember that performance! Prince was in the Middle of singing "Just My Imagination" and he stopped, saw her in the crowd, and asked, "don't you sing?" and put the microphone down to her in the audience, and Mica proceeded to Tear It Up! They say he later asked her to be in his band; she politely declined...

Didn't know that! Hell was she on?! Clearly he and Boni weren't getting along too well. But just the thought of him having two of the badest female vocalists in his band at the same time is making me

Actually,I didn't know that he and Boni weren't getting along at the time!...you think maybe that's why he asked Mica? He obviously had been checkin' her out - He knew who she was in the middle of a crowded room and that was before she was a bona fide recording artist... Actually,I didn't know that he and Boni weren't getting along at the time!...you think maybe that's why he asked Mica? He obviously had been checkin' her out - He knew who she was in the middle of a crowded room and that was before she was a bona fide recording artist... Yeah, supposedly, Prince and Boni fell out after the Lovesexy Tour and he was desperately seeking another female vocalist. That would've been awesome of Mica was singing with Prince. | |

Have you ever seen that 10 minute special "Prince Rocks!" on Cinemax from around 1989?(where they interview everybody from Clapton and Quincy Jones to Little Richard and Terence Trent about Prince) They show a minute or two of that night club appearance , and you can see Mica singing in the crowd... yes she's gorgeous! have all of her albums until 1998's Black Angel. sadly it seems she didn't release anything after that have you catched her version of If you want me to stay"? G.R.E.A.T.  Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy! | |
