I absolutely LOVE "If We" with Ja Rule and Nate Dogg on the Glitter soundtrack. I play that song over and over and over again. There is song with the same exact music and same exact Mariah adlibs, but a different rapper, different melody and Nate Dogg is singing the chorus, with different words and well, everything is different. This song sucks compared to the one with Ja Rule. Does anybody know why they would take the music and change the song completely. I don't get it. I guess the beat is that damn good

Another thing, someone here posted a long time ago about the Tommy Motolla conspiracy against Mariah and how Mariah recorded a song with Ja were there was a going back and forth with the melody and Tommy decided he wanted Ja to record a song like that with Jennifer Lopez (I'm Real remix). This was when Glitter came out. "If We" shoul have been a single. I heard Mariah was pissed because Tommy rushed that J.Lo remix out quick. Anybody else here about this and the two different songs I mentioned?

Yeah I heard that too about Mariah being jealous of the J.Lo/Ja Rule thing. I had almost forgot I even had Glitter...it didn't really get much play in my cd player though. I only liked a few songs on Glitter. I'm not familiar with the other version of "If We" though. Well, Mariah won't hafta worry about J.Lo stealing the spotlight from her now. Thank God. Like she could compete w/ Mariah anyway.

If We is one of the bearable tracks with rappers in it on Glitter. But still in no comparasin 2 classics like:

All My Life
Want U
Never 2 Far
Reflections (Dont U Care?)
Lead The Way
Didnt Mean 2 Turn U On remake
and even Twister is nice.
