New JLO track "On the Floor" Just had this track cross my path, trust me I wasnt looking for it. I was curious when people were telling me "its different than whats getting played now". Well I will give that much, however its a total Rip of the LISA LISA "i wonder if I take U home" except its not a cover its just a total sample including the Full Force beats. I hate it how people say that a producer is FRESH when all they are doing is taking some 80's song and sampling it, whats fresh about that?
Also JLO's vocals have gotten....worse, if thats possible. I mean she makes Britney seem Like Streisand or Aretha. And not only that, JLO does the thing I HATE MORE than anything in a song, she announces herself, "guess who this is". I hate when anybody does this, but I realize why its done, everyone sounds the same so they have to announce who they are so people know who to buy. And last but not least, as bad as it is, it will be Big. As long as MTV jumps on a Video, and JLO is famous for her videos, just show some ASS and dance a little and then release it in time for some news story ( examples) pregnancy announced or a new Bad Film coming out or MAYBE yet another divorce, and it will blow up big time. Same ole Same ole, no substance, Just Booty, Oh well. Ooooh. I can't wait to hear this one. You know. I've heard this song at the club twice now. Not sure if it's the one you're mentioning. But..It samples Lisa Lisa's "Can You Feel The Beat", and has a 90's house vibe to it. So you know when it comes on I've got to throw down  .
The vocals are a bit overshadowed by the beats so I can't tell who the singer is, if in fact it's J.Lo.  Also. How Dare you compare BaaBaa & Areefa to Britney!  Giving Britney a bad name like that!  I'll forgive you this once. 
If the new J.Lo song is as bad as you say, most likely I'll love it.

Are you guys confusing J Lo 's song with that Nina sky song? The Nina Sky song has a Regge house beat to it. That song has an interpretation of "Can you feel the beat" also. Thank You San Alejo for getting rid of my enemies. :-0

That has to be the Nina Sky song, "Move Your Body". Full Force was given songwriting credit for it. | |

It's ok. It will do good 4 her once a video comes out. I wont have a problem with it. It doesnt sound "old Skool" at all though. Nothing really that differentas people were saying. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Slightly off topic, a Kylie Minogue song from her last album also samples "I Wonder If I Take You Home" (she just says the title and it actually doesn't sound like it does in the original but still) and she doesn't give Full Force credit. Has anyone else the heard the song (I think it's called "Secret (Take You Home)"). | |
