That wouldn't happen to be from the "Live At Mikell's New York" CD with the John Belushi intro?

Which reminded me a few Japanese imports he sent me:
Tropea
To Touch You Again
A Simple Way To Say, "I Love You" (smokin')

Most people only remember him from the solo he played on Deodato's "Also Sprach Zarathrusta" from the Prelude album featuring Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham.
Another famous CTI recording I might add.

Question, By the Way: what do you think of Tommy Bolin?

To be quite honest, this is the only thing i've heard from him that I remember.

Other tunes of the moment:
Don't Go - Tania Maria
Maxine - Donald Fagen
Steppin' - Soulive
Joshua - Joe Henderson (w/John Scofield)
Glamour Profession - Steely Dan
The Masquerade Is Over - Eugene Mazlov
Rainbow Visions - Crusaders (LC teaches guitarists the meaning of restraint) cool
Running Away - Roy Ayers
Norwegian Wood - Allan Holdsworth

Man, I haven't heard " Don't Go" in ages! All this talk about Tania Maria, I have to go break out some discs.....

DF- The harmonies on Maxine are incredible!

Glamour profession! "...Illegal Fun...Under the Sun, boys..."

Running Away! - You got the 12 inch version?

Larry Carlton Is the Man!!

How is Holdsworth's None Too Soon? I always wanted to pick that up...

Don't have the 12".
I taped the tune to learn it off of a bandmate's Lifeline lp.

Always dug LC. Just a master of restraint, taste, tone and melody.
Never fails to play just the right notes at the right time.
Kind of like a less raw Robben Ford. If that makes any sense.

I bought None Too Soon because he was playing in more of a swing than rock setting.
Also was curious to hear him cover Coltrane's Countdown.
The only letdown was that the sidemen could have been better.
I still dig it. Some hardcore Holdsworth fans don't.
