Uh Oh...Usher's Started Referring To Himself In The 3rd-Person

What a loser.

Courtesy of Rnbdirt.com:

Usher was featured on the syndicated newsmagazine show 'Entertainers with Byron Allen' on Wednesday night, where he openly criticized Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC and even took shots at Madonna, while boasting Janet Jackson. On Justin, he told Byron, "He's still got to find his own style and his own swagger - he's not on Usher's level. There can only be one Usher and I'm sitting right here." He continued, "A lot of people compare me to [Justin] and I don't understand why. I was making R&B classics when he was singing bubblegum pop and I had plenty of successful albums. I did the movies, and now he's trying to do movies. I've been in the game for 10 years now." When asked about who he'd like to do a joint tour with in the future, he said Janet Jackson. "She's an entertainer - a true entertainer. There's no one like her. Some people compare her to Madonna, but I think Janet's above that. Madonna hasn't impressed me in a decade, but musically, Janet is still setting the bar. The way I feel is, everybody wants to be Usher, everybody wants to be Janet - the problem is, we can't be duplicated."

R&B classics? Who are you, Al Green? Make the fucking ego stop. I can't stand him and I can't stand the fact that he has 3 Clear Channel number one singles within a few months. He isn't that damn good. He just got really fucking lucky. With an attitude like that, you almost can't wait for his drug bust or something. I know a lot of people hate on Britney and were cheering when she broke her leg but she doesn't have a tenth of the ego of this mother fucker!

Wasnt he just sitting next 2 Justin? cough cough?

Anyway somebody finally ticks Justin off (fianlly) but Usher man...ur songs on ur latest album are not all that....he should take a few lessons from Dangelo, Raphael, Maxwell, Musiq befor booting he fuckin ego like that. Janet is cool, but come on .. him???

He could dance his ass off and I would sleep with him but still....that last album and his singles are not that impressive 2 me.

Everytime you look around, Usher is talking about Justin. I mean, damn....shut up already.

When they sat next to each other at the Laker game, I saw that game and they were chatting with each other the whole entire time.

Usher's been an egomaniac since he came out in the late 1990's, but someone should really sit down with him and explain that he's not doing anything new at all.

Shit, "Yeah," uses the same beat as that god-awful Petey Pablo song.

There's too much of him. He's releasing his album with duets of the same song, one version features Alicia Keys and the other version features Beyonce.

Goes to show you where he's at when he says Janet's setting the bar musically.
Her music is done by Prince protoges (talented guys no doubt!).
Her voice is buried in the mix because she can't sing!
Usher might be on her level. But at least She & Justin seem like nice people.
Don't you just want to slap him?

I know you think that you’ve got it all
And by making other people feel small
Makes you think you’re unable to fall
And when you do, who you gonna call?
See, what you give is just what you get
I know it hasn’t hit you yet
Now I don’t mean to get you upset
But every cause has an effect

He has a habit of making a fool of himself, but people look past that when you're selling a lot of records. rolleyes He also came off as a major league jackass in his cover story in Rolling Stone recently...I'll never understand what Chili saw in that constantly self-aggrandizing idiot.

If I'm not mistaken this isn't the first time he's come across as insecure with regard to Justin. This Usher/Justin thing has the makings of that Rick James/Prince thing where Rick constantly (and without provocation) brought up Prince in interviews and Prince publicly never responded. Is it going out on a limb to say that Usher (or both) won't be around 20+ years after the fact to carry on a Rick James-like obsession? neutral
