It's REALLY obscure !!
you may have to DIG IN THEM CRATES!!!
( it was on Mercury records )

But, you would not believe Coke's version of that song
even tho, I gotta give honorable mention to AWB's version as well...

biggrin Yeah, I like AWB's take on it, too!!
Seriously, though, they really NEED to reissue this on CD (unless it's already available as a Japanese Import??) I'm gonna go check...

Import it is.

1. No One To Depend On
2. Why Can't We Be Lovers
3. Rebirth
4. Easy Come Easy Go
5. Love Letters
6. Hall's Delight
7. If I Ever Lose This Heaven
8. What Are You Under
9. Make It Sweet
10. Life Is A Tortured Love Affair

Classic reissue from 1975. The first of 3 albums that Thomas "Coke" Escovedo produced for Mercury Records. He worked with Carlos Santana and formed the band Azteca, but never achieved the widespread recognition that was accorded brother Pete and niece Sheila E. Nonetheless, we still have his recordings to remind us that talent truly does run in the family.

$43.89 @ www.cduniverse.com
$37.49 @ www.amazon.com

Turned up cheaper at Amazon.
