Concert Ticket Prices

I know this has been discussed b 4 but I CANNOT BELIEVE the cost of some of these concert tickets.

Who in their right mind would pay 300 dollars 2 see Madonna?? No, seriously. 300 bucks 4 Madonna?? HELLLLL NAW!!

I don't think I'd pay 300 dollars 2 see any-dayum-body. Yes, that includes Prince.

I'm sorry I don't have it like that, and even if I did... I certainly wouldn't spend it 2 see Madonna.

Sorry. But I was looking for a concert 2 send my parents 2 in Chicago and saw that mess on ticketmaster. Had 2 vent.

i was thinkin about this the other day .... after i spent a bunch on Prince tickets ....

i remembered reading a couple yrs ago - when Pearl Jam was complaining about ticket prices ... i remember somebody writing an article that basically said that prices are actually TOO LOW .... his point , if i remember it correctly was that certain tickets should not just be in like 3 tiers ..... for instance - front row tickets back then couldve been 80.00 but if they were really put into an open market and sold ... some fans would pay $1,000 and up ....

just a sobering point ... but i know what u mean .... confused

I still don't understand the US ticket market...most expensive
tickets for 13.000 plus capacity venues in Europe are in the
70-85 € range (4 'expensive' acts) but prices seem 2 b going up 2. I remember thinking
my Prince tix in 1998 where rather expensive & I only payed
about 50€ 4 them biggrin...still the best Madonna ticket money can
buy is only 57.5€ 4 the Paris shows...General admission standing
places r just the best: Close 2 the stage, better atmosphere, cheaper...

fuck seats. cool
...Your coochie gonna swell up and fall apart...

I paid $300 to see one of Madonna's shows boxed

She performed three shows in my area, and I was determined to have a floor seat for at least one of them.So I shelled out $300.Yeah,that's alot of money for a concert, but it was worth it to me.The show was incredible and I don't regret it at all.Of course,my family and friends think I'm nuts...lol

lol Madonna's got me hooked, what can I say?!

btw,I can't understand why everyone's making a big deal about the $300 ticket price for Madonna. Not EVERY seat costs that much! Her ticket prices begin at $45,and there are also $90 seats and $150 seats. If $300 is too much for you,you can spend half of that ($150) and still get a decent seat, like I did for the second San Jose show.I was in section 114,and let me tell you,it was right near the floor section ,to the left of the stage.I had a perfect view.
