What you're describing is not the incident posted above, however. And I just have to say - her "life's work"? Britney is a corporate creation, not someone with talent. She can dance, but thousands of other girls dance just as well. What's this about a "dancing career", though? This is not her livelihood. It's not as if she worked for 2 decades to astound the ballet world. Besides, she can always retire and live off the proceeds for the rest of her life. The cruel $$ price of fame and celeberity status. I have a big enough heart to be empathetic to her situation, but if she weren't so driven to have a pop music career, we certainally wouldn't be intereseted, and she would still be in Rustin, LA trying like every other small country town girl to reach the BIG time. Related but not to the topic, on mtv.com they have footage of Britney when her knee gave out while shooting that video. It seemed quick and sudden how all of it happened. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

(i might be a lil touchy today because i'm on a sugar-free diet, but) I'M SORRY, I completely take offense to that girl being referred to as a dancer when, first of all, her videos are filmed with her only doing EIGHT COUNTS OF MOVEMENT AT A TIME!!! EIGHT COUNTS???? which, for me would explain why she looks absolutely ridiculous trying to do the choreography from these videos during live performances. secondly, i have many friends in world reknown classical and modern dance companies ALL OVER THE WORLD who have to tour 30-40 weeks of every year of their professional careers- EIGHT SHOWS A WEEK for 2-3 HOUR PERFORMANCES...and the amount of busted knees, torn ligaments, and BLOODY feet they have to endure (often even while PERFORMING) makes me just look at britney and roll my eyes...can't help it...just how i feel on the subject of that dancing stuff

I'm no Britney fan,but I'm gonna offer some advice anyway...lol...Britney really needs to take a year or so off.She should take a long vacation to some faraway place, where she can lay in the sun, refresh and get herself together.it's obvious that she's having a difficult time dealing with the pressures of fame, and Liz Smith (New York gossip columnist) even suggested that her recent quickie Las Vegas wedding was a "cry for help".If she doesn't take a break soon, she's gonna self-destruct like so many other young stars.

I just cant stand how Monique always is tryin to put down skinny women. you are what you are!>!!> She seems to be insecure about herself and cracks on skinny girls to make herself feel better. that's all, i still watch the parkers Kirk: "KHAAANNNN! Anyone who calls what Britney does dancing must have never been clubbing in their entire lives. I've seen better "dancing" in clubs when the song "Back That Ass Up" comes on. Is it suprising how they swoon to help Brittney but noone gives a shit about the person who was almost run over. I know paparazzi can be annoying but that doesn't give you the right to practically kill them.
Brittney is crying. Who gives a shit. Is that really the important part of this story?

I agree with this statement. I saw a picture of Britney in a mag (can't remember which one) and she had her pants on real low and her lower abs were kind of sticking out. They looked an awful lot like female abs should, (and they still looked a hecka lot flatter than mine!) but the caption below the photo said, "Britney's cute Buddah belly." Sorry, but since when is this newsworthy? Or necessary? I don't care for Brit's music, but let the girl be bloated in private! "She made me glad to be a man"

For real. I've been feeling for a while now that not only would I, as a person in the general public, like to have a break from the onslaught of media junkets, videos, and ect. from Britney, but also, that that kid probably needs to take a break for herself. You would think she would have learned something from whoever conceptualized her videos like "Lucky" and "Everytime" -that she needs to go sit her a** down somewhere and chill for a minute. If you keep choosing to throw yourself back into the relentless circus which show biz you should know you're going to have a rough time of it more often than not ... Not saying that she deserves all the scrutiny, but showbiz is cutthroat. It is what it is, and it's not going to change. If you wanna play, you really only have two choices; step up, or step out of the game. And as much as I understand the showbiz tactic of always trying to stay on top by striking while the fire is hot, it gets to a point where i think every entertainer should sit down and assess themselves and figure out if their fire really is that whitehot after all, and is it worth driving themselves nuts just to maintain it.
