The cruel $$ price of fame and celeberity status. I have a big enough heart to be empathetic to her situation, but if she weren't so driven to have a pop music career, we certainally wouldn't be intereseted, and she would still be in Rustin, LA trying like every other small country town girl to reach the BIG time.

Related but not to the topic, on mtv.com they have footage of Britney when her knee gave out while shooting that video. It seemed quick and sudden how all of it happened.

I'm no Britney fan,but I'm gonna offer some advice anyway...lol...Britney really needs to take a year or so off.She should take a long vacation to some faraway place,where she can lay in the sun,refresh and get herself together.it's obvious that she's having a difficult time dealing with the pressures of fame,and Liz Smith (New York gossip columnist) even suggested that her recent quickie Las Vegas wedding was a "cry for help".If she doesn't take a break soon,she's gonna self-destruct like so many other young stars.

Not saying that she deserves all the scrutiny, but showbiz is cutthroat. It is what it is, and it's not going to change. If you wanna play, you really only have two choices; step up, or step out of the game. And as much as I understand the showbiz tactic of always trying to stay on top by striking while the fire is hot, it gets to a point where i think every entertainer should sit down and assess themselves and figure out if their fire really is that whitehot after all, and is it worth driving themselves nuts just to maintain it.
