Why hasn't Del the Funky Homosapien been recognized as a Top shelf rapper? He paved the way for smart lyricists to be heard. The likes of Talib Kweli, mos def, and Common wouldn't get any play at all if he didn't come along. At least that's my opinion, I could be WRONG!!
