Madonna toured behind Erotica which was probably the time she was most hated. Granted Erotica had shifted 2million at that time. She also is touring behind American Life... yes it's an American Life tour 7 out of 11 songs are on the tour possibly an 8th one in europe, which has only shifted 700000 in the states but she sold out everyshow. Janet knows people will go see her if she tours... here's to hoping its a different show than the last 4.

Janet is one of those artists who doesn't necessarily need a "hit" CD in order to tour.She has a large,loyal fanbase who would pay to see her under any circumstances.So it would be foolish to cancel a tour strictly because of the less-than-massive sales for 'Damita Jo'.

Gosh. I would think she'd want to tour to bolster sagging sales of her CD. It's good, but without her being in the public eye, plus the HUGE FREAKING RACKET her brother is making with this latest trial, she might need it.

i think janet willl tour. she will probably do a limited engagement type of tour in the states to test the water. then she'll go on to japan where her cd did well (i think). if her us tour does well with the few dates here, while she's in japan she'll add some more to the states. well, at lleast this is whaat i'm hoping for. janet can definitely sell out major cities such as nyc, la, chicago, philly, dc...i don't think cd sales are indicative of ticket sales. look at madonna. especially since janet got so many rave reviews for her last tour (though fans would prefer heer to leave out some of the repetitive stuff). i hope she tours. i live for the every 3 years tour!

She has already said that she changed how the show looks and some of the songs are being done differently this time around...so if she has done all of this already...she definitley is not gonna waste her and her dancers time...
