Her Comes The Bride....Again. J.Lo & Marc Now Mr. & Mrs.

J. Lo weds Marc Anthony - report Magazine says singer/actress married to salsa singer

LOS ANGELES - Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez has married her current boyfriend, salsa singer Marc Anthony, barely five months after breaking her much-publicized engagement to actor Ben Affleck, Us Weekly reported Saturday.

advertisement

The magazine said Lopez, 33, married Latin music star Anthony, 34, at her home in Los Angeles Saturday in front of about 40 guests. Us Weekly said it had pictures of a giant tent assembled on the estate and of guests coming and going among tables covered in white table cloths and flower centerpieces.

“It was a lovely low-key intimate affair for the closest friends and family, “ Us reported a friend as saying.

“She didn’t hardly tell anyone. Everyone was surprised,” another unidentified friend told the magazine.

Representatives for Lopez and Anthony could not immediately be reached for comment.

The reported marriage comes less than a week after Anthony was granted a quickie divorce in the Dominican Republic from his wife of four years, Dayanara Torres, a former Miss Universe.

It would be the third marriage for Lopez, the sultry star whose previous trips down the aisle have both lasted a little over a year.

Tabloid news reports have linked Anthony and Lopez for weeks. They noted that Lopez had recently returned the giant pink diamond engagement ring she was given by Affleck during the stormy “Bennifer” affair that rose to a fever pitch last September when the couple called off their wedding at short notice, citing excessive media intrusion.

Affleck and Lopez officially broke their engagement in January and both have maintained a low profile since then. But by May, Lopez was seen wearing another diamond, reportedly given to her by Anthony.

Here is the AP story on it.

http://apnews1.iwon.com//...e&SEC=news

The most surprising part of the story is that they kind of speed through Marc's martail history. Remember the renewing of vows after his first seperation. And his divorce took place only days ago! Not only that, but who knew that he has a new CD coming out Tuesday (and could this possibly help the CDs sales)? Talk about a non-existant music career. He was pretty good in "Man On Fire" and should proably stick with acting (not that he is a bad singer).

This marriage might be the most embrassing for her. J. Lo you're going to get married...to Marc Anthony. Again, look at his history. Four words: Halle Berry Eric Benet! I'd like to think that she got it right this time (after all, they dated before even Ben and Puffy and his "marriage" but the combination of those two people just can't work at all. It would be something if they prove us wrong.

I just don't understand that woman. And what about him? Is the ink dry on the divorce papers? Perhaps she's desparate for a baby - who knows. I know if I was a friend and/or family member I seriously would not be buying any more wedding/engagement gifts!

Well, maybe the third time is the charm..... or just a speed bump to number four!
pray God bless everyone. NO exceptions. pray

I'm sorry but what a couple of losers who are making a total mockery of the word "marriage". rolleyes

His divorce is only just a few days old, he's still in the midst of a paternity lawsuit with a teenage girl who claims he's the father of her infant, and well we all know about J.Ho's past love life.

I wonder who will cheat on the other first?

I give this joke of a marriage 6 months at the outside.

I'm a huge fan of Marc Anthony, seen him in concert a few times, and i love his last two CDs.But unfortunately,by aligning himself with a media whore like J-Lo,he's gonna become yet another tabloid sensation, getting tons of press for things that have absolutely nothing to do with music.I'm sure the media is already trying to figure out a name to call him ("MarcLo"?).He's not gonna be known for his own worthy accomplishments,he's gonna be known as Jennifer Lopez's latest conquest. And that's a shame, because he's one talented dude.In a year or so,when J-Lo gets tired of him,she will simply move on to her next victim.Marc should be smarter than that.

I totally agree. It's obvious that Jen doesn't take marriage seriously and it's an awful example to set. Failed relationships are one thing but by marrying someone you are essentially giving your life to them, it's an important commitment. By taking this so lightly she is doing herself no favours. I would hate to think that the world was watching with scorn and waiting for my next marital fuck-up.

She's turning into the new Liz Taylor! Bet Ben Afflek is thanking his lucky stars that he scraped out of that one! Imagine being just a number in a string of failed marriages?

nod J-Lo obviously has no clue what real love is,and what marriage is supposed to be about. She has this urgent need to always be "in love".Have you noticed that, whenever one relationship comes to an end,she always seems to have a "spare"? She jumps in and out of relationships and doesn't even take time to get over a failed romance.Any guy who would get seriously involved with her is crazy.

6 months.

I'll give Markifer 7 months, just based on the fact that his albums' about to drop and her new, variation-on-a-theme perfume, Miami Glow is supposed to hit at the end of this year sometime.
