GEORGE MICHAEL FANS REJOICE!

YOUR Patience is set 2 be rewarded - George looking in2 touring next year!

GEORGE MICHAEL has announced plans to go on a world tour next year (05) - 15 years after his last major road show.

The FAITH singer is considering going on the road to support his latest album PATIENCE, his first project of original material in eight years.

He says, "I may be touring next year and obviously if I tour I'll come to the States. I guess the extent of the tour will depend on whether the album did really well or not."

But while Michael has a bevy of fresh material to unveil to his fans, he's also keen to perform familiar songs for concert goers.

He explains, "I very rarely treat a tour as a promotional experience. I like to go out there and sing songs to people when they know them, rather than sell the album during the concert.

"You want people to be fully behind the concert. It's nice to play a few new tracks but I think when people go out and play their new album it tends to bore the audience a little bit."

Hate to pop your balloons folks, but wait and see. He said roughly the same thing when "Older" came out and it never happened.

I really hope it happens, but I have my doubts it will.

American Life a great album overlooked by alot of the public most critics loved it Europeans loved it one year later a sell out tour

Patience great album overlooked by the public crirics loved it. George an arrogant Queen who would love to show up another arrogant Queen. I bet he'd be on the road next year to prove that if Madonna can sell out so can he!!! He's always said he'd outlast everyone but her so let see if he follows through
You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

Wow, you're so sharp! Glad you picked up on the reason why I highlighted those two lines. wink How's that working out for you, being so very slowly clever, "Dude"?

Most critics weren't too impressed with it either. Someone of Madonna's stature doesn't need a hit album to sell out a tour. She has a big, loyal fanbase. Plus it's not like she tours that frequently. What was the length of time between "Drowned" and her previous tour?

Patience great album overlooked by the public crirics loved it.

Not in the UK. It sold very well here for the first couple of weeks, despite poor to indifferent reviews.

Mr. Michael has been making rounds on the talk shows lately and during two - George confirmed this may be his LAST release. He said he has no contractual obligations to Sony after this one but is planning to release an album of duets yet.

So, if he tours... GO SEE HIM!
