Talk of a Jackson 5 reunion has been in the pipeline for years, but now it seems it may actually happen. Apparently troubled Thriller singer Michael, who is currently facing child abuse charges, is to get back together with his siblings for a new album and a world tour. Also being mooted is a West End show tracing the boys' stratospheric rise from small-town beginnings in Gary, Indiana, to superstardom. “This is the first time since the album Victory in 1984 where all the Jacksons have a reunion and release an album together as the Jacksons once again,” says Jermaine Jackson, now 49. “With the album and musical going ahead, the next step would be to follow it with a world tour.” Jermaine, Michael and siblings Tito, 50, Marlon, 49, and Jackie, 53, enjoyed a string of hits in the Seventies. Also hooked up again after a gap of nearly 30 years are former musical duo Simon and Garfunkel. The Bridge Over Troubled Waters singers, who split up acrimoniously in 1970, are scheduled to release their first new song together since their estrangement. Due to tour the UK this summer, after cementing a renewal of their friendship with a joint performance at the 2003 Grammys, the pair will play Hyde Park in London, Manchester’s MEN Arena and a Dublin venue next month. I personally want MJ do a solo album and a solo tour. I think those Jackson kids finished their money and wanna tour again. Just like when they did in 1984. Katherine forced Michael to join in 1984 I hope same thing doesnt happen again. But it may be a rumour. Coz they say they will reunite almost every year. So whatcha all think? But since when did Marlon and Jermaine become twins...they're both 49? I got mixed feelings about the 2001 show. I actually thought the whole "Dancing Machine" number was awful, but not because of N'Sync. At least JC Chasez was on pitch, unlike Mike. If they do a new album I hope they make a JACKSON's album, and not a compilation like that "Victory" catastrophe. Can't wait for the tour. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Please elaborate I don't think it will happen. This seems just to be Jermaine's wet dream. I wouldn't fight it if they wanted to make another albm together though. Especially if it's anywhere near as good as there first 4 albums as The Jacksons. Do I really need to? Or do you wanna see some 40-year-old overweight has-beens trying to do Jane Fonda aerobics while lip-synching their attempt at "contemporary" R&B/hip-hop. I want to remember them the way they were.

That's fair enough I guess.
