D'Angelo news

ok, I got a link to ?uestlove rambling on DLo's current status.
deal Warning: This is a long link, so only listen if you truly have time, cuz' the drivel is almost unbearable. headache

ftp://okp:okp@streaming.3...tgiles.wma

I believe the song around the 12th minute mark is DLo, but I'm not sure. Also the Stevie Wonder-esque stuff around the 23rd minute is pretty nice.

Right at the end of the interview, ?uestlove announces that he and D'Angelo are returning to the studio 'in three weeks' time' to record D'Angelo's next album which he anticipates will be available in early 2005.

I think that's about it.

he HAS, but not as regular and productive as most of us would've liked.

on a sidenote: ?uest's radio interview was pre-recorded. and he's already
been in the studio with d'angelo on several occasions since feb/march/april
if i'm not mistaking. that is according to ?uest himself. you better believe it.

This would mean that D'Angelo has took around 5 to 6 years to complete a follow up to 'Voodoo'. Thats a long time!, most artists take about a year or 2 or in the case of rappers they usually take a few months to a year for each release. D'Angelo's new CD should b cool, however, I do think that he takes 2 long on his albums, 'Voodoo' took about 4 years so his new album will b about 5-6 years after. As long as its good than thats all that matters. I mean in 5-6 years, Prince back in the 80's, woulda released like 5 to 6 new albums!.

Anyway, D'Angelo is 1 of my fave R&B artists and its new CD will be worth the wait IMO.

What a lazy fucker. Can't wait for the next album though ... actually, I can. Four years already - what's another year, eh?

I don't know if it's my desperation for sum D'Lo musik or if it's actually that good.
I need someone un-objective to listen to it.
