What's been the album to your fav summer as a kid? Yep, lets get nostalgic once more, as summer is here (or almost is), I was wondering if u have any albums that u heard, as a kid, that have always meant something to u, as they were played during your fav summer holiday! Which album, any album, holds a nice warm felling in your heart as it reminds u of that fav summer with ur mates/family?
Mine..... 1) "Dangerous" -michael Jackson It came out in November, got it at Chrismas, palyed it alot during whole bloody year of 1992! Only 7 at time! All my mates had it and in summer of '92, we would go out on the street, with our little crappy boomboxes and dance to tracks like "Jam", "Remember the time" and "She drives me wild"! We made a mix of only the fast cuts off that album 4 non stop dancing marathons to impress the Paula abdul loving girls! Hah, MJ danced way better then her, anyway, that summer ruled and so "Dangerous" will always be special to me 4 that reason! Also..... 1)"Beverly hills cop II-soundtrack"- played every year on a long car trip in summer holidays! Album was already old by '92, but my Dad loved it and so did me and my brothers and sisters. Same summer, Kriss kross "Jump" was still being played by my mates as was "Mo money" soundtrack, esp track "The best things in life are free"! Great tune!

It's not my favourite album by the Jesus and Mary Chain, but I have very fond memories of driving around in my friend's convertible with "Automatic" turned up very loud.

When I was a kid my father bought me 'The Final Countdown' by Europe, I loved that album back then, couldn't stop spinning it, there was a ballad there to 'Carrie', which coincided with my first real big crush on a girl and I couldn't stop listening to that song either. -"If U don't like,
