This album is gauranteed to put a summer smile on your face!

I know the first album was alot bigger sales wise, but I prefer the soundtrack to this one though! It really throws u back to those great chugging synth drenched tunes that r so good 4 car journeys and general positive energy! My dad constantly played this album when on long trips as a kid.....

Fav track has got to be "Shakedown" by Bob segar! I don't really like his sort of music, but this song is top class! From the edgy producton and verses, to the "Your busted" and "I'm coming after u" lines which are brill! I love this song!

Other highlights include george Michaels "I want your sex" (love the words aswell as the "Kiss" like producton), ready 4 the worlds "36 lovers" (Minni sounding of course), Corey harts "Hold on" and "I can't stand it" by Sue Ann! From that list, u can see that the artists and music ranges from soft rock-funk-pop-mor pop etc...

Closes on the nice Jermmaine jackson cut "All revved up", love the verses on this track!


I know this sounds terribally dated, but, in a car trip, this album still holds up as positive, summer holiday music! If u love 80's pop oj general, then this album is a must honesly!

Anyone else love this now hidden gem! Gem maybe a bit far, but "Shakedown" and "I can't stand it" are almost classics in my book.


Honestly, not a bad track on here! Pebbles "Love/hate" is only average, as is the Jets track but their still listenable!
