Well Mariah dismissed alot of her old TEAM recently, gone are alot of her original managers, lawyers, publicity people and her new team is already working hard for her new CD which is not due out for a few months. Last to go was Mariahs publicist who had been with her a long time, some say she should have been gone after the Glitter era, and the stories about Suicide attempts that were unfounded and false. The final straw came recently when Mariah was out on the town with friends at a club and a story ran that Mariah tried to pick up a guy at a gay bar, by showing off her million dollar legs by lifting her skirt to show em off. but the guy ignored her because he was gay. Well this story wasnt even close to truth but it ran in the NY POST the new Enquirer of these days, and no one in Mariahs camp stopped it. Well that gave her last team member her walking papers.
Well so far its a new day for Mariah, Billboard just ran an article already talking about the New CD and the producers being used for the project and how the promoion wheels will be turning with alot of TV and Video, a possible DVD release for the Last tour and maybe an OPRAH appearance in the Late summer. Also gone are (fingers crossed) guest Rappers, even though Kayne West and R Kelly have produced tracks, Mariah is using alot of CLUB production giving the CD a retro Dance/Neo Soul feel, topped with her usual Ballads, but taken to another level as Benny Medina has already said. After this CD Mariah will owe One more CD to DefJam, no word yet if Mariah will Resign after that CD. So far Def Jam has been happy with Her, the Last CD sold 1.5 million in the USA and Over 3 Million worldwide, despite not having a HIT-RADIO track on her last CD. Mariah will also be guesting on the next DJ CLUE mix CD and the new JADAKISS Cd, Mariah will be singing the Hook on his Next single, and its funny but now Mariah is in demand by Rappers to sing the Hook, it used to be the other way for her. But anyway, Heres hoping that MARIAH puts together a SOLID album start to finish. I guess Im Looking for a GLITTER-Butterfly-Music Box combo, if thats possible. And also dont think MC is going to tone down the Sexy Image and Outfits, not happening.

All good news, I must say, though I'm not a rap fan, it never bothered me in her songs.
But, I welcome something fresh !!

Good news, but I don't think I've read the word "MARIAH" so many times in all of my life. I'm tired now.
