Fantasia Barrino wants to duet with Prince Don't know if this has been posted, but I found this on MTV.com :
Q: Is there anyone in particular you want to work with? Barrino: I have to say Aretha Franklin. I would love to do a song with her 'cause she is my girl. I want to do a song with a lot of people, even Prince. If I can find him. He is on the go. Slow down so I can do a song with you, Prince! I'd love to see this happen. It would be great to see them together. Fantasia does have good taste but I always had a feeling that she did. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Fantasia has an amazingly nasty, annoying voice and I would bet that Prince has no interest whatsoever her. Her voice is a poor imitation of Patti LaBelle. Her rendition of "All My Life" was the most horrible, worst cover I've ever heard. She RUINED the song. God, think about it...how many other real singers out there admire Prince and are dying to do a duet w/ him? Prince would benefit from doing a duet w/ Fantasia?! Puhlease!!! Musicology is the hottest tour this year. Prince's cd is in the top 10. 20+ years in the music business and he needs to benefit from American Idol?! What a joke. | |

Even if Prince were to pick any of the A.I. contestants, it would be Latoya first, and NOT Fantasia. At least Latoya has both the looks and talent. | |

That song was ruined when it hit the radio, god that song is awful..it was nice on the first listen but All My Life got played EVERy single day..it is not on my list of most hated songs right under Boys II Men "End Of The Road" and "One Sweet Day". With all the female singers out there Prince hasn't worked with (Sade, Janet, Jill Scott, etc) and we talking about an American Idol winner? Why not just reform the NPG with Clay and Ruben while were at it  Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
