Motley Crue's Vince Neil-When aging rock stars get desperate From this morning's NY Post:
June 2, 2004 -- MERE mortals are not the only ones going on reality-TV makeover shows. Former Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil (above) is subjecting himself to a trainer, plastic surgeon and lifestyle counselor for MTV's "The Remaking of Vince Neil," which will also offer the 43-year-old rocker a chance to work with a top producer and a recording artist to relaunch his career. Neil told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he's also in talks to reunite with Motley Crue if he and former drummer Tommy Lee can get past their feud. Let the rain come down...17 days....

They should call up Rick James and do an R&B/funk version of this type of reality show

I always thought Vince was a fool until I read this.
One of the saddest things I've ever read. http://members.aol.com/ls...ories.html

One of the saddest things I've ever read. http://members.aol.com/ls...ories.html Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I thought it was the lead singer of Poison, Bret Michaels, who is a diabetic. You are right - Brett Michaels is a diabetic. I read a book on Motley Crue called "The Dirt" - it's one of the most entertaining rock bios I've ever read, but the part about Vince's daughter's death is SO heartbreaking. I know he must wonder why this happened to her instead of him. [This message was edited Thu Jun 3 9:36:04 2004 by MarianneD]
