How Deep Is Your Love is my favorite.
His first album was great. That whining/begging didn't really kick in until the second album. Blame it on Levert. It's that duet "I knew that you were cheating on me baby" (I forget the actual name). |

Athena Cage (the lead singer) came out with a single a year or two ago - had a video, too. Didn't seem to do that well, though. Last time I checked, she had an official website, www.athenacage.com. She was back in her hometown of Kentucky pursuing her musical endeavors. About the others, I don't know - I had a HUGE crush on miss Cage and I loved their album. Keith was cool back in the Newjack days! First 2 albums were good, but "Keep it comin'" album was pretty low on quality! Saved thanx to "Why me baby" duet with LL cool J! Remember the remix uptempo version they did of that song! Video was cool!
"Make u sweat" "I want her" "In the rain" "I'll give all my love to u" "Why me baby" (both original and remix) Their my favs! "Keep it comin" had wack uptempos and the ballads started to sound stale! Particually as Jodeci's first album "Forever my lady" dropped same year! Remember his proteges "Silk"? Got their first album, pretty good too! "Freak me" is still a classic and is possibally better then any solo Keith song ironically! "Girl u 4 me" sounds heavenly to me! Gorgeous track! "Silk" were great at the harmonies! "Baby it's u" was one of the last Newjack cuts I remember hearing! Great song too! "Happy days" is quite good too. In fact "Silks" first album is proberly better then any Keith album..... | |
