Remember when I did a thread on Tonex a few months ago about his underground album the 2-CD set Oak Park: 92105 and told you that his 2-CD Out The Box....was gonna push him to another level....Well Billboard charts for next week is out and.....


New York, NY (May 26, 2004) - Cutting edge singer/performer TONEX entered at #1 this week on the Billboard Top 40 Gospel chart and is #5 on the Contemporary Christian Chart. The smash album which features the hit song “Make Me Over,” also appeared on Billboard’s Top 200 at #89 and #15 on the Top R&B Chart....

That's amazing for a 2-Cd set gospel'Christian set...Tonex is gonna cross over big with this 2-CD set this year....Cop it it is an amazing 2-CD live set that captures how tough T is live.....the brother in addition to being a tough vocalist is a gifted rapper, producer...musician and like Prince who is one of his biggest influences....is also very prolific.....He got tons and tons of projects already ready to be released.....

Go out to http://www.nureau-underground.cjb.net/ and purchase some of his unreleased and underground recordings.....I have Oak Park:92105 and
Protranslutionary and both of them are superb.....As I stated earlier Oak Park:92105 along with Out The Box are two of the best recordings of 2004 as far as I'm concerned.....

And people in the secular music community are hip to him...Timberland knows who T is.....Pharell knows who he is....Faith Evans is on to him.....just to name a few and last but certainly now least.....Sir Stevie Wonder is a fan of his.....

Pick up Out The Box is a good buy.....He has some nice studio tracks on it too...

And the highly anticipated Out The Box DVD which captures T's live performance of this album comes out on June 22nd.
