The Bee Gees call it quits Surviving Brothers Gibb call an end to their longtime musical group
All you disco fans will be heartbroken to hear this but...The Bee Gees are no more. Barry and Robin Gibb, who were made commanders of the Order of the British Empire by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, said they couldn't go on without brother Maurice, who died last year after a heart attack. Barry Gibb,57,said the Bee Gees are now a thing of the past."We are not the Bee Gees now,in respect for Mo",he said."Maybe the time's just right for a bit of free flight.Maybe at some point we will do something together". No They said they'd keep singing as a tribute to their brother. How could they go on without him? As usual. They never needed him that much. Both of the surviving brothers have gone solo several times and Barry particularly has the same sound solo as with the group. Please, keep singing!

it's sad but it's appropriate. i think the surviving two are set for life, and can go on releasing solo stuff that i'm sure their fans will appreciate.
