Why isn't Madonna's THE VIRGIN TOUR on DVD? and just VHS? I would LOVE TO have the FULL concert (Including Angel AND Borderline which I"m pretty sure aen't on the VHS version) on DVD-you would think almost 20 years later they would re-release something. Anyone know? Let the rain come down...17 days....

Forget that. Where the hell is that "Blonde Ambition" DVD that was promised last year? Maybe even earlier than that!

I saw Desparately Seeking Susan on DVD for under $10 Canadian! at Future Shop. Surely it wouldn't be difficult to find a market for a mid-80s Madonna concert.
And the VHS I have rented time and time again has pretty good sound/picture, so it's not like they'd have to even put tons of money into "cleaning it up" quality-wise.

Still, good point re: multiple rentals vs. purchasing... amazon.com| . . "Virgin Tour VHS" [search]

What's odd is that some of Madonna's worst projects are on DVD (the flop movie 'Shangai Surprise'....the horrible 'Ciao Italia' concert) while many of her best projects (the movie 'Who's that Girl?'....the 'Virgin Tour'...The 'Blond Ambition Tour') are nowhere to be found on DVD.

And I thought I was the only one that liked "Who's That Girl"! I would hardly consider that one of her best projects and the fact that it is only a minor cult hit at best is probably the reason it may never see a DVD shelf. I also find it out that "The Virgin Tour" never surfaced on DVD when "Ciao" and "The Girlie Show" did. Strange...as for "Blonde", they (Madonna's website) promised it a few years ago. Shame!

Yeah, I'm sure you could get the video real cheap used somwhere and in good condition.

I love 'Who's That Girl'! It's hilarious, and Madonna gives a decent performance for once.I would go so far as to say that it's her best, most enjoyable film.Oddly enough,SHE hates her performance in that film."I don't like that movie",she said in 2000."Don't like my performance in it."
