I have questions about every single person on that list...!!!
Well...my cousin is MC Shan (The Bridge, Jane Stop This Crazy Thing..*Cold Chillin' Records) (produced "Informer" by Snow). One of those artists (the one that died) from the Force MD'S used 2 come 2 our house and chat with my dad. (I was like 4 or 5 then..). I met Pharrell (Neptunes) at the show. I just shook his hand and said What's up. That's it! Oooh. I saw Eve at my Sam Goody when i worked there.. She was very little, and seemed very tired. She had all these ghetto people surrounding her. She looked like a little girl. Oh yeah.. and R. Kelly. He was shopping for CD's at Sam Goody. He had braids and a yellow shirt. he was with a friend. He didnt look that bad in person. My brother met Fabulous backstage and said he is really skinny, and quiet. My brother also met Ludacris in To Soho downtown Minneapolis. Oh and he sees that laed singer from Next always hangin out Downtown... [This message was edited Thu May 13 11:52:26 2004 by paisleypark4] Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I met Living Colour a few times... and here is a picture with Vernon Reid:
I met Nick and Simon from Duran Duran. Howard Jones was shopping while I was working at Sam Goody. He asked if we had Garbage in stock. I found it for him and he said "Oh, brilliant." I told him that I love his music.

Depending on which act it was, I was either playing the alto sax or performing as the Drum Major. It's a big thing at HBCU's to have celebrities perform with you at important games. Luda gets his hair braided the same place I used to. I didn't realize he was as short as he was...not to say he's a midget or anything, but I thought he was at least 6 feet.

I spoke 2 him and he said he had 2 move out from NY because it wasa 'garbage' as he put it (although i love it no matter what). His son is doing graphic design and had an offering for me 2 live out there with him for a couple momnths..but it never happened.. Anyway..the first time i remember him was when he threw a party at our apt. in Staten Island...i gues 2 promote "Jane Stop This Crazy Thing". He had given us a autographed copy..i still remember it saying "to Isaiah and Toussaint, I Love You". Some1 stole that and almost everything in our house though years later..so we had 2 move out. Anyway, my mom told me that it wasn't the "Batman" in the big movie, it was the one that had a tv show. Well, I didn't even meet Adam West! Nothing! I got nothing!

here is one for ya: met the one and only Bill Murray! ---the kicker was that it was at Glam Slam (MPLS) we were chillin at the bar near closing time, and it was pretty dead. next thing you know he appears next to us with 2 incredibly hot chicks (another one showed up a few minutes later.) Just my girl and i hangin' with Bill and 3 other hot chicks. he ended up buying us a couple drinks. definitly the most surreal of moments. especially because he would probably be the last person i would expect to see at Glam Slam. -peaceternal >>>The Jam Of The Moment: Francisco Mora Catlett - 'Amazona' <<< .

Prince once came to a movie theater where I worked circa 1991. I walked right by him. He probably saw me, though. I did see him get into his car with a fine girl. He's the only guy whowould go to a movie (woody allen's Shadow's & Fog)in a metallic jumpsuit and cape.

We were on break from videotaping the performance and he just walked by our table and said hello. Shook our hands and everything. He was a real cool guy and so down to earth. I don't really think Robin was an alternative music fan, so she wasn't there. I met Howard backstage also, but he was kind of a dick. This is an interestin thread...Half of the people on my list I have met literally on the streets of L.A., the other half at parties or award shows: (People often speak to me first because they always think I'm a musician. In reality, I'm a photographer.
Sade Lenny Kravitz Michael Jackson Terence Trent D'arby Vernon Reid Slash Michael Bland Sheila E. Wendy & Lisa & Susannah Me'Shell Ndege'Ocello Henry Rollins Mariah Carey Patti LaBelle TLC Peter Gabriel Gloria Estefan George Clinton Anthony & Flea of The RHCP Vanessa Williams Sandra (damn, what's her last name, the comedienne that used to hang with Madonna) Vanilla Ice (Yes, Ice Ice Baby) Oaktown's 357 McHammer The Pointer Sisters TuPac Digital Underground Aaliyah (two weeks before her death) EnVogue Duff (Mtv) Jon Secada Michelle Pfeffier Danny Devito LL Cool J Fab 5 Freddy Faye Dunaway Tom Cruise Demi Moore Nicole Kidman James Caan Vinve Neil Don Johnson Mick Jagger Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics) Carmen Electra (before she was famous or had a cd out and was just Prince's girlfriend) Dave Navarro (he works out at Crunch) Cree Summer (also works out at Crunch) Cindy Crawford Richard Gere Herb Ritts Greg Gorman Helena Cristiansen Linda Evangelista Michael Hucthence Tony Ward Countess Vaughn "Bookman" from Good Times Vanessa Marcil Rhonda S. Scott Wieland Eric Clapton Patti Smith Alan Jackson KD Lang Toni Basil Gary Busey Chaka Khan John Taylor (of Duran Duran) Debi Mazar (she used to be my neighbor) Bernadette Peters (also my neighbor) Eg Daily (damn, she too was my neighbor) Some famous porno stars (but since that's not my vibe I don't know thier names...they used to always try to get me to do porno...also neighbors) Cristopher Ciccone (Madonna's brother) Oh my you guys there's waaay to many more (I live in Hollywood) so meeting people is a dime a dozen here. I won't even begin to tell you who I have met in the men's bathroom...No, get your minds out of the gutter. And lastly Prince...not really but he passed me in a crowd once and touched my shoulder and said "Excuse me..." Believe me I was shocked and moved quickly but inside my head I was screaming "Oh my f**cking goodness, that was Prince!" Whew... Peace, Serveitupfrankie* Non-Linear Reality
