Listened 2 "In The Zone" by Britney at the store...

It is a very shallow album.

Mostly all the songs are somewhat Europe Techno / or somewhat out-dated R&B. Almost trying to get "Kylie".

The only song that really grabbed my attention was "Brave New Girl" other wise, the album was dead and i dont know why i expected more.

I bought it and can't understand why. I wish it actually had more out of date Euro techno becuase the R&B is just crap. "Outrageous"? Really? "Early Mornin" would put anyone to sleep! And the new single must be the "Boom Boom" song. "Brethe On Me" is the only song worth making a single even though "Toxic" and "Me Against The Music" are catchy.

I haven't heard the album and despite i like the two singles, i don't think Britney is really hot at least here in Europe. I mean she is a tabloid persona and all but her album with two massive hit singles was a flop (#14 in the UK) and new single sounds very much like something Mariah Carey would do (does Britney really sing the verses?) so I suspect she won't have a third big hit in a row.

It's a terrible album, but I do love "Breathe on Me". Though Kylie has made much better songs.

Ok whatever u say boo

The Velvet Roper - agreeing with you. It is not very good. I expected better from her..but why? The only Britney album i ever bought was "Oops I Did It Again.." which acually wasnt bad, i liked "When Your Eyes Say It" and "Dont Go Knockin" very much.

Other than that... no. Kylie album is yes..a much better buy.

Actually, as much as I can't stand Britney, I do have to admit that there are a couple of songs from the "Oops" era that I like, that weren't included on the album, I don't think: "When I Found You", and "That's Where You Take Me". I know they aren't good songs, but I really like them anyway.

Those are both on "Britney". I think that "When I Found You" was a bonus track while "That's..." was on the American relase. It's a damn good album and I recommend it.

Seriously doubt it.
Betcha she easily triples what Musicology sells in a year in just two months.
