Any Tears for fears fans here? I have been a fan since the mid 80's and wanted to know if any fans are here and what is your favorite song? Mine is "Sowing the seeds of love" that song just makes me happy and I think is the best Beatles inspired song I have ever heard Imo. What is everyone's fave Tears tunes?

Everybody wants to rule the world & Shout would be obvious choices because they were massive hits, but I liked Pale Shelter, Change and Mad World. Sowing the seeds is also cool in that grandiose manner . Jeux Sans Frontiers

That's a tough one. I love the whole "Sowing" CD. Badman's Song. Woman In Chains, Advice For The Young At Heart.
After Curt left Roland did a really cool cover of Radioheads "Creep" on the CD single of "God's Mistake." I like it better than Radioheads version." Shout, Everybody Wants The Rule The World. I have to get their new CD when I get over to Tower.

Famous last words- This song is truley beautiful; the fact that its about a nuclear apocolypse, coupled w/the fact that its the last complete song on the album makes it linger with you after its over.
Year of the Knife Avice for the Young at Heart Woman in Chains- I love the fact that it doesnt deal with femenism per se, but adresses womens right as a Human rights issue. Plus Oleta Adams is in the mix. Pale Shelter Mad World Everybody...- Another political gem that I think was lost on the masses. I think all they heard was a very catchy tune. I guess looking back on things, these guys were socially aware and it came through their music. Social commentary wrapped in lush soundscapes that was constantly all over the airwaves. I Love it! peace.

I am so glad there are others here that love this group, and the song "Sowing the seeds" I don't know anyone who really knows much about them so it's hard to get a conversation going.
