I'm not very familar with their own songs but they stuff they did for others, ecspecially Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and Samantha Fox.... I just heard part a new dance reamake of "Can You Feel The Beat". Great stuff!

The songs you mentioned appear on a collection of their greatest hits released in 2001.

http://www.amazon.com/exe...ce&s=music

I guess they also attempted a comeback with an album called "Still Standing" a few months earlier. Guess the record label said screw it, and tried to cash in with the collection.

http://www.amazon.com/exe...music&st=*

BTW, does anyone know what album their song with Samantha Fox called "All I Wanna Do" is on. It was hot!

I think the song your thinking of is "I Wanna Have Some Fun" It's from her 3rd album which is the same name as the song. I don't quite remember it clearly just pieces...

I know that one. I actually have all of her albums. Shame on me. I've tried to follow what's she been doing lately and it seems like she is still trying to make another album. Her last one in 1998 was pretty damn good. I also think she is in a relationship with a woman. Breaks my heart. Nothing against lesbians, of course...but she was so fine!

"All I Wanna Do" appeared on one of their albums. I did some research and I'm thinking it was probably "Smoove" and it was called "All I Wanna Do". Yes, the title sounds a lot like many of her songs. "I Wanna Have Some Fun", I Only Wanna Be With You", "Touch Me (I Wanna Feel Your Body)". It pretty much is a Samantha Fox song with Full Force on backup. Kind of cutesy dance pop while "I Wanna Have Some Fun" was more forceful (tee hee). I also think there was a video.

hahah lol u're probably right
I have everything they released til '95s "Sugar on Top", but never heard something new after that CD.
I really loved their work, I prefered their own albums far over what they did for other people, except James Brown "I'm Real" which I consider a real overlooked classic

now gimme some Static! headbang
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I have their 1987 album 'Guess Who's Comin To The Crib?',which I consider their best, most consistent album.Songs like "Take Care Of Homework" (with Lisa Lisa),"Love Is For Suckers","Low Blow Brenda",Your Love Is So Def" and the slow jam "All In My Mind" are superb. Some of their songs have a Princely/Time influence to them.On this album, the track "Katty Women" sounds just like a Time song.I'm surprised that this album wasn't a bigger success.

Yeah, I love that album too, very funky! "I'm real" is a classic in my book! Good 2 know someone else likes that album!

I also liked the work they did with Latoya Jackson ("You blew","Wicked love") and Jasmine Guy's album!"Try me" is stone cold funky! "Full force step to 'em"!

Loved 'em most in the 2 house party movies! Very funny! Their 'rap' in the record store in "House party 2" always cracks me up! U know, when they are trying 2 get a job their and their Mum makes 'em do it! Top stuff!

Know I'm going to listen to that album when I get home. It's a shame that it went nowhere becuase "Just One Night" wasn't half bad.

Full Force never really got their props as the architects of what would later be called New Jack Swing! They clearly influenced Teddy Riley, Jam and Lewis, L.A. and Babyface, and Dallas Austin. Just listen to FF and you'll see. I remeber when I saw them in concert with Salt 'n Pepa, Heavy D, E.U. and Johnny Kemp! falloff It was fun, though.

My fave FF songs are Unselfish Lover, Your Love is So Def (the remix), All in My Mind, Unfaithful (even though the hook is borrowed from "Sugar Walls"), and Quickie.

Check 'em out here: http://forcefulworld.com

My faved FF productions are all the Lisa Lisa stuff, "Masterbaby" and Roxanne" by UTFO, the "I'm Real" lp by James Brown, and "All I Have to Give" by the Backstreet Boys.

FF rocks and have influenced me in all aspects of my musical endeavors. worship
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Without even thinking about this topic I pulled out my Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam "Super Hits" (BTW, does anyone have their "Past, Present and Future", which includes "new" songs and how is it). Damn those songs where great. "Can You Feel The Beat" and "I Wonder If I Take You Home" are nearly seven mintues a piece of hot dance music.
