No, these happened when I was in the band in college. Depending on which act it was, I was either playing the alto sax or performing as the Drum Major. It's a big thing at HBCU's to have celebrities perform with you at important games. cool

Yeah he is doing alright. His daughter died a year or 2 ago, i never met her though. I spoke 2 him and he said he had 2 move out from NY because it wasa 'garbage' as he put it (although i love it no matter what).

His son is doing graphic design and had an offering for me 2 live out there with him for a couple momnths..but it never happened..

Anyway..the first time i remember him was when he threw a party at our apt. in Staten Island...i gues 2 promote "Jane Stop This Crazy Thing". He had given us a autographed copy..i still remember it saying "to Isaiah and Toussaint, I Love You". touched

Some1 stole that and almost everything in our house though years later..so we had 2 move out.

Wow.....you met...Jackie "the Jokeman" Martling! Where...how? Where was Robin?

Despite all the political arguements, I used to think you were a good guy but now you suck.

My list:

He-Man, Hordac and Barbie at this Mattel Chirstmas promotion at the mall in the mid eighites.

I saw Adam West through the window of Blockbuster when me and my mom went to go get his signature in the mid-eighties. He was there for the video release (or rerelease) of "Batman the movie" to capatlize on the big "Batman" movie the same year! Anyway, my mom told me that it wasn't the "Batman" in the big movie, it was the one that had a tv show. Well, I didn't even meet Adam West!

Nothing! I got nothing!

here is one for ya:

met the one and only

Bill Murray!

---the kicker was that it was at Glam Slam (MPLS)

we were chillin at the bar near closing time, and it was pretty dead. next thing you know he appears next to us with 2 incredibly hot chicks (another one showed up a few minutes later.)

Just my girl and i hangin' with Bill and 3 other hot chicks.
he ended up buying us a couple drinks.

definitly the most surreal of moments. especially because he would probably be the last person i would expect to see at Glam Slam.

I met him back stage at the DFP 2000 in Jersey. We were on break from videotaping the performance and he just walked by our table and said hello. Shook our hands and everything. He was a real cool guy and so down to earth. I don't really think Robin was an alternative music fan, so she wasn't there. I met Howard backstage also, but he was kind of a dick.

Despite all the political arguements, I used to think you were a good guy but now you suck.
