I don't know why so many people are so surprised by this. Lets face it, Fantasia and LaToya were battling for the black vote and Fantasia won. The black public can no longer sustain both women now that it's down to 4 people (2 of which are black, 1 white and 1 Filipina/Hawaiian. LaToya had the best voice, but the least amount of personality in comparison to Fantasia. IMHO - the next couple of votes will be decided based on race. The blacks will vote for Fantasia, the whites for Diana and the Asians will vote for Jasmine. I'm not saying this is 100%, but for the most part, this is how the voting will go, so get on the phone next week people and vote for your favourite!

Paisleypark4, I feel you on this X3.....First of all let me state that I never really watched AI since it's inception.....I only watched the last few episodes last year because everybody was talking about the Ruben vs Clay situation.....

Of course....I like when they show highlights of Simon going off on singers after their performances.....Say what you want about Simon....but the man tells it like it is.

Anyway....fast forward to the last few weeks of AI....I'm very meticulous when it comes to music...and I really trust my discernment as it relates to music.....And Latoya is clearly the best vocalist out of the four finalists.....Her performances actually started me watching AI this year.....Paisley I echo your sentiments Jasmine got some sympathy votes because she cried the night before last.....but tears or no tears...she should have went down last night.....No amount of crying and boo-hooing can compensate for a voice that CLEARLYhave limitations...this is how I break down the final four.....


DIANA- I know she is from Georgia....but forget that.....this is one hometown girl I can't get with.....One thing I will give her is that she knows her limitations and her song selections have been pretty good... And she has improved....But she ain't a natural like Latoya...


JASMINE- Her last two performances wasn't worth two dead flies....bad song selections....She doesn't have the range nor the power to cover the Weather Girls.....You got to have some serious pipes to cover "It's Raining Men" and Jasmine doesn't have even a fraction of the range necessary to pull it off.....

FANTASIA-Fantasia is good....but I don't like her tone....Her vocal tone is kinda twangy but she emotes power and she knows how to work her performances...She has a unique voice {not necessarily pretty.....like Latoya's} and that really makes her stand out. Her performance of "Summertime" was masterful...She ripped that song to pieces. She really bought it. And that brings us to.....

LATOYA.....This sista is a natural.....I mean come on...Anybody with two ears can hear that...Listen to the power, range and tone of her voice....Plus she's beautiful as all of outdoors as old folks used to say....LOL.....I mean looking at her perform is like watching a 20-year veterean.....Great voice, has charisma, knows how to work the stage and the camera.....PLEASE.....that sista had it going on like POPCORN.....the audience knew..(hence their booing).....Simon, Paula and Randy knew it.....the other three ladies knew it...and the general American public with a good set of EARS knows it too. She should have won the whole thing....But I do believe that sistagirl will get a recording contract.....She'll be ok.


PREDICTION.....Jasmine will go next week...look for Simon to snap on her hard next week...LOL.....Then it will be Fantasia and Diana going toe-to-toe and Diana will end up winning the whole thing.....

I don't thinks that this show is going to last very long with all of the controversy that is happening now. It is totally messed up when one of the best singers is voted off before the worst one is now that is F@#*ed up. After this season I am not going to watch it next year they are going to lose their ratings and be forced to go off air. The American people are not going to put up with this BullS@*t.

I want 2 actually be happy 2 buy an American Idol's album. And Fantasia would be the only one.

Diana has a nice voice...but that's it. No personality. Boring... and only can handle certain songs...

If it wasnt for Fantasia being on there still i would NOT be watching this got damn show anymore.

If the worst person of the night can beat on of the best because she was CRYING cuz she knew she was leaving? I definitley should stop watching.

If Fantasia does not win i am giving up on the fucking show for good.

Even Paula Abdul was crying..people were screaming and booing, Simon said Fantasia and LaToya shouldnt be on there and that it is a terrible American mistake.
