Which of these artists...

do you think has the best possibility of making a successful 'comeback' album?
Some of the biggest names in pop have, to some degree or another, not performed as well on the charts in recent times as their prior releases. I'm not saying they weren't good albums;
but these releases were out shined by some newbies.

MADONNA

Kylie Minogue

Janet Jackson

Michael Jackson

Whitney Houston

Mariah Carey

And,do you think any of these artists should just retire to doing Vegas style lounge acts? lol

I hope it's Whitney. She has such a great voice that shouldn't be wasted. I have all of her cd's and love every one of them.

The rest I couldn't care less about. bored

She's probably gonna have to face the reality of serious rehab first.
The pipes are/were there though.

As much as I lurve both Madonna and Kylie, I doubt that even they can make a successfull comeback. In regards to the others, I really don't care what they do. razz

..I think Madonna would have the best chance...not a fan, but she has a keen sense of what to do...Now, for personal reasons, heres hoping that Whitney Houston doesn't ever comeback..I can't stand her..for so many years she was so smug and so aloof..I did my heart good when she proved to be nothing but a junkie....she has one hell of a voice, but a junkie none the less...

Oooh oooh! Micheal! Definitely Michael. He HAS A CHANCE! (no he does't) Actually if He could get back 2 being Michael the Musician, I think people would forget about Michael the Freak. He needs to tour, record and write again. Invincible was cool but he didnt' tour behind it. Dude needs 2 get press from things other than his problems.

Yep, I agree with all that! R Kelly did it so Mike can too! I know he has 100's of unreleased stuff kickin' about! Songs with good producers as Michael works with loads of different people per album! Anyway.....

Best chance of a comeback is proberly unfortunately Madonna, though I hope she doens't as their is nothing special about her music anymore! Nothing to make her stand apart form the rest! U know what I mean, other 'newer' acts can do madonna type music better than she can!

Theirs still some little hope 4 Janet's album right? Should do better than madonna's latest anyway!
