Wow.. im glad to know that there are other prince fams with the same music taste. My favorite Sioux video is Last Beat Of My Heart.

But I have to say, that I enjoy the music of The Creatures albums more than SATB.

Not a big fan of the Cure.. but I respect them.

Not a big Siouxsie fan but I love 'Cities in Dust'.

I love the cover she did of Dear Prudence and the video for it.

I also grew up with alot off the Cure and Siouxsie stuff.

I remember reading somewhere, that she said she was a huge Prince fan. I think she said she loved Sign "O" The Times and Lovesexy...If I remember correctly. This was way back.

It was interesting that in the 80's kids who were into The Cure and that dark gothic rock stuff also had an affinity for Prince. Especially around Parade (Life Can Be So Nice), Batman and most of the previous stuff. ALso a little bit o the early nineties. I think the mystical part of the Love Symbol album appealled.

That dark edge was something cool about Prince. To appeal to a group like that certainly said something about his style of music appealing to so many.

In the mid 90's the whole rap/hip-hop thing...he lost alot of those admirers.

Also! If you listen to Peek-A-Boo, it's got that funk groove which at the time, 1988, it reminded me of Alphabet Street.

I like lots of songs like "kiss them for me", "cities in dust" "face to face" , I read one of her interviews in which she said she likes Prince a lot
