Ladies & Gentlemen, .............The Revolution!

Will we ever get 2 see The Revolution (circa 1984) back 2gether again?

I still think that was Prince's most magical combination in band form.

Lisa Coleman: Keyboards & Voice
Wendy: Guitar & Voice
Bobby Z: Percussion
Brown Mark: Bass & Voice
Matt Fink: Keyboards & Voice

...and of course Prince on everything else...

4 those of u who actually got 2 see them perform in that form...u were truly blessed.

As much as I would love to see them together for even one night, I have to say it too, Im not holding my breath over it. And with Prince so deep into the JW religeon as he seems to be, there is no way that he will ever make contact with W&L again. Their beliefs (the JW beliefs) completely forbit it. So chances are pretty slim to absolute none. I have learned to accept it and move on.

If Prince had gotten back with The Revolution about 10 years ago,it would have been a huge pop music "event".But,too much time has passed.A Revolution reunion would now look awkward.Besides,it's obvious that Wendy and Lisa are not interested.

Personally,I'd be more excited if the 'Lovesexy' Band reunited.

I said this in another thread before but- I don't think Prince ralizes how much the Revolution as a band meant to his fans. Prince was the man, but his band was important to back him up, now he just has paid yes men for hire, in my opinion. They'll probably be gone next tour. The Revolution are to Prince what The E Street Band was to Bruce Springsteen. He did OK without them, but when he got them back together to tour, the fans loved it and it was a much better show. I think a Revolution reunion would be incredible, but it probably will never happen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Please welcome The Revolution.

I remember those words in the movie, clear as day. Loved it then, would love to hear it now.
