You know how there are some artists that you like and you listen to more for the groove and not so much the lyrics? The SOS Band is one of those groups for me.... I know the words to a bunch of their songs but I never really "listened" to what the lead singer Mary Davis really was saying... I have these songs back to back on one of my compilation CD's

I am sure there are more but these stand out....ok what I noticed is this poor woman is in need of some serious Dr Phil help. She seems to have the same theme of "Ok go ahead and sleep around as long as you make sure Im still there in the end." Has anyone else noticed this? I find it very odd I hope she wasn't writing all this from personal experience....That would be some sad shit. In all the years I have listened to them today is the first time I noticed this theme. Are there more songs with her saying "sleep with whoever just come back to me." lyrics? Anyone else notice this?

and I do agree with you there, I've always wondered why she always played the "other woman...OR perfectly okay with her man screwing other women...and accepting it as long as she was respected" in all of the songs. It kinda shows strength...to a weird degree, but also it's like.."hey...get a man and KEEP HIS ASS!!!"
