Essential Albums to have in your collection..

I am just trying to start myself buying some music that I have never explored before and need a little help!! My collection is mainly soul and everything by Prince and the gang! Could you help steer me in the right directiono f what essential albums I really should have?

And I do not wanna brag, but my taste in music is rather broad, so you get a full scope of what's out there.
I used to work in record stores. So I had the time to listen to loads of different musical styles.

WHat other styles would you like to discover? I myself also like loud industrial music like Nine Inch Nails. Would you be interested in that too?

If you really want to try something kinky; try Nina Hagen's Naturtrane.

It's in German, Nina is weird and was trained as an opera singer. Try to find the song with the same title; it rocks.

Unbeschreiblich wieblich is also good.

No this is exactly what I need! It's all very well looking at a 'greatest albums of all time' list, but I really want a fair opinion.. I love Bjork's debut and a hyperballad, also Franz Ferdinand I already have some Bowie and random things like Mike Oldfield and old Genesis. Just with so much out there, I wanted to get with some classics..Thanks so much, ebay here I come!
