Hi, I listened to the whole cd on i-squad. I love it from beginning to end. I love every song on it. Teena is back and staying. She deserves this comeback. My favorite cuts are "Off the chain", I love him too, Still in Love.and Makivelli never lied. The album is a little over produced but all in all it is good. Cashmoney needs to let Teena do her own thang completly next time. The Ivory Queen of Soul has returned and I must bow for Lady Tee!

I won't hold it against lady Tee for being on the label. I'll give it a chance and I'm glad she is working again.

I think I'ma go ahead and order this so I can have the benefit of a full listen. From what I heard on the snippets though, it sounds right up my alley. Thanx for the post, H: without seeing this I never would have thought twice about checking out Lady T's new cd wink .

Dave, do you know where I could get my hands on that bootleged 2-CD set album "Black Rain"? Do tell, brotha!

Anyway,,,

Personaly, altho just like ya'll mentioned its a lil' bit over-produced its really an enough treat 4 me just to hear Lady Tee opens her mouth and sing the telephone's rent bill note let alone this one. I won't even compare it to her previous effort becoz its unfair and considering that she did this under her circumstances(being a Cash Money artist) I say this is bangin' to death.

Gerald Levert, MCLyte & Common graced the sessions but nothing really made me smile mo' than Rick James' presence in the album, ain't nothing could pull the best out of each other but each other *period*.

My absloute fave song is "Black Rain" from her infamous bootleged shelved album 2-CD set "Black Rain"(I sho wish I could put my bare hands on that sucak).

Based only on the first 7 samples, I'm not rushing out to get it but maybe I'll change my mind.

I have not heard 1 note from this new Teena cd,
but if the album is half as good as Teena looks in the picture I saw of her in a recent "USA Today" article..
the album is going to be BAAAD.

I have ALWAYS been a fan of "Lady T",
she has an AMAZING, soulful voice
& she's a solid musician to boot.
she deserves any & all props she can get.

when Christina Arguillero (sp) is REALLY ready to learn how to sing,
she should RUN- not walk-
to Teena's house
to learn how it's supposed to be done!

I h a t e that I won't be back in the US in time to see Teena, Rick James

&

Morris/The Time in DC..
that is going to be a VERY good show!

after I get back, I hope I can track down that tour to see Teena & Rick,
neither whom I've seen live before..

I'm.. tal.. king.. SQUARE BIZ..
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..
