I've finally heard Franz Ferdinand's album

They're OK. I've been hearing buzz about this band for some time, but I haven't heard a note of their music. But one day I was in Tower Records, and decided to listen to their album. I've been hearing about how they are big in the UK now, and that they are catching on with Alt-Rock audiences in America now.

So, I heard the album, right? I was expecting to hear some artsty post-punk, dance-rock, but some of it just sounded boring to me. I liked a couple of tracks, but it sounds too.....dull. Too English (maybe?). I don't know. But for some reason I just wasn't pleased with too much of their stuff. I don't know, maybe I should listen to it more then I'll appreciate it. But if you wanna hear some funky dance rockI'd go with The Rapture, Radio 4 and !!!

Franz Ferdinand: Good, but not great .
NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Nightcrawler

It´s one of those albums you´ve got to listen to a couple of times before you really get it. I thought it was quite okay the first time I heard it. One week later I just couldn´t stop listening to it, maybe ten times a day. It´s a masterpiece, give it some time.

This was the next album I was going to make a point of buying, because word-of-mouth was that it was really good. I was told it was sorta like Interpol or old Joy Division or something but I have yet to even preview it.

Is it No Wave?

I've only heard this album through about 4 times, but it's growing on me...

I know. I believe they're from Glasgow, Scotland. But I was saying that they're a big hit in England now. I don't know if they'll take over America yet though. Only time will tell.
