AL GREEN Or RONALD ISLEY

I was just curious: Ronnie's been around since the 1950's, But Al Green seems to be on everyone short list for Great Singers; I always thought their range was very similar...any preference? I was thinking about it because they both just dropped new albums; Ronald Isley with Burt Bacharach ( "Here I Am")and Al Green's "I Can't Stop", his first secular album in Years...
