this performance was HOT! i love the choreography for the new song...especially the whole booty thing...you know, the 'drop it till you're taking it lower' move...so HOT!

that was the best tv performance i've seen so far!

I will definatley buy that issue of "Rolling Stone"! The performance was hot but the interview was boring. It doesn't seem like any of the people that interview can really engage into a good converstation with her. Yes, she is mousy and whispers and avoids questions but the interviewer needs to be good to get people like that to open up.

She is on Conan Monday! That could be damn good. He is very funny and Janet likes to laugh. He could get her to open up or at least ask new questions that fans might care about.

i never expect much from these late nite guys. not because they can't ask good questions but because its not supposed to get deep. now, barbare walters or diane sawyer, they are interviews worthwhile! they are the ones good for some drama!

plus i'm fairly certain that janet approved what would and wouldn't be spoken about.

1. lipsynch (why? and that dance performance is so fucking 80's---get a real band already)
2. liposuction (huh? what happened to her over-sized ass? you can't drill that off that fast)

don't mean to be negative-----it's just an observation.

i think the whole song/dance performance wore off together with michael
jackson in the mid-90's. going onstage with a shitload of dancers lipsynching
to your own music should be forbidden. you hate it when britney does it----
well, janet ain't that different anymore performancewise (and i know janet was
a great inspiration for/influence on britney). if i look at justin timberlake---
wow, hear me out first!---this dude can really dance (seriously) and he can
still hit some good notes (no lipsynching). if you want to be onstage with
some dancers, do it like justin's doing it; real band, good singing, professional
dancing---just like mike used to do it. that's a pop-package that works in my
opinion. if it's lacking an element the package doesn't work and it won't be
interesting to look at. and that's how i look at performances by britney, janet
and most of the other top-of-the-pops acts out there today. it's not
interesting---that's not light entertainment!

i saw that janet video 'what'll i do'---you know the rolling stone cover---that's
what i want to see her do (not that she's doing what she does solely to
satisfy me but). didn't that song really come to LIFE live! i know most of you
agree with me. you claim to love prince and his musicianship cause that's why
you come here----you're pretty critical about his music and musicianship at
times. why not be honest and as critical about this when it comes to janet
(cause you people certainly express those feelings when it comes to britney).

as for janet's album; i know the fans love her new album, but i--as a janet
admirer--think her newer material is so non-thrilling. and that's a shame. her
music is so ordinary, you know? it's that regular pop you always find halfway
down the charts.

i read somewhere that janet wanted to put out a jazz album called 'damito jo'-
--instead she releases this. why not take that risk??? it would sure as hell be
a breath of fresh air through her not-so-innovating catalogue. she's put some
good albums out (whatever her involvement was in those projects), but her
last two we're pretty standard pop with no dare at all. too bad.

just for the record, when janet performs live in concert...not on tv...she has a live band. the booty was still there. way there!
