Any Fans Of Brazillian Jazz Singer Tania Maria? My friend bought me these 2 albums as gifts:
 -1982
 -2003
She's really good, I'm not really fimiliar 2 her stuff(or Brazillian jazz as a whole 4 that matter) but I'm digging her tune alot. Anybody here know her? | |

Our keyboard player likes her music a lot. It's very good.

I can't describe to you how impressed I am when I realized that her phrasings are her OWN 
Damn near every SO-CALLED Jazz vocalists are Betty Carter/Sarah Vaughan clowns, them silly bitches got no sense of individuality 
I wish she Tania Maria could work with George Duke & maybe Arif Mardin, they could pull Brazillian Jazz very well too(not that anything wrong with her native producers, I just want some safe exposure 4 her). | |

I'm not an expert on her music but I do own two great live albums and the "Come with me" 12inch - and dat's a killer!  Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy! | |
