Update on Stevie's Album (well, sort of...)

The Oprah news is cool... but the sales of "Conversation Piece" is shockingly low, I had no idea it did so poorly. sad

But, it'll be cool to see where Stevie goes from here... I can't wait! Read on...

New Stevie Wonder Set Due in June
Wed May 5, 5:31 PM ET Add Entertainment - Reuters to My Yahoo!

By Jonathan Cohen

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Stevie Wonder will on June 8 release "A Time 2 Love," his first new studio album since 1995.

Details are scant about the Motown project, but Wonder is expected to be in the public eye more than he has in years around the release date.

In the weeks ahead, the artist is expected to perform on an episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" devoted solely to him. He is also scheduled to appear on ABC's "Good Morning America."

On June 10, the artist will be presented with the Johnny Mercer Award by the National Academy of Popular Music/Songwriters Hall of Fame, for the "high quality and impact" of his body of work.

"A Time 2 Love" is the follow-up to "Conversation Peace," which debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 366,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

'Conversation Peace' was kinda disappointing, imo.I really wanted to like it,but it wasn't one of Stevie's best albums. The songs were cool, but there was nothing outstanding on it.Here's hoping the new CD will be more inspired.

Exactly. clapping As much as I love this man and his music, I was highly disappointed in Conversation Peace. I almost vowed not to listen to any of his new stuff anymore... boxed

until I heard "Justice Of The Heart" thumbs up! I fell in love with 'em all over again!!!!
