Well Im really impressed with the New LIONEL cd, sure it has the typical ballads and stuff but its more and more like an old school Lionel and like a Lionel trying to be a new school kid. Most impressive is a track with LENNY Kravitz, they wrote it together and LENNY is playin the piano and Guitar and doing backing vocals on the track. The CD leans towards ballads but mess with what you are best at. Also I got this new STYX compilation, which is the firsst compilation to go all the way through their career from 1971 to the present day, this Compilation is a prelude to a Box set that is coming next year. This CD has some omissions but I really appreciate the inclusion of the early out of print stuff from 1970-1973, all in all there are 35 tracks and the compilation hits every CD release including last years OVERLOOKED CD CYCLORAMA (they should give it out at shows too), the only CD not touched on is 1999's BRAVE NEW WORLD which was the last to feature Dennis Deyoung, that CD also was a strong effort and I am surprised it was not touched upon. But with a BOX SET on the way which will feature many un released songs, u cant complain. And as for DVDs Duran Duran release ARENA and SING BLUE SILVER, I purchased them both and the packaging is worth the price alone, Im watching em now and REFLECTING.
